The ministry will make more efforts to clear and regulate charges on companies and improve the tax incentives for small companies, according to the meeting.
The ministry said that the blockachain technology is now witnessing growing applications in areas including finance, credit reporting, smart manufacturing, and supply-chain management.
The meeting called for intensified efforts to ease the difficulties facing businesses. Local governments should establish, based on local needs, special mechanisms to help companies cope with the impact of the outbreak. Temporary measures should be implemented to support small and medium-sized enterprises, including cutting or waiving rent for private, micro and small firms in State-owned properties, lowering lending rates and improving tax relief policies.
The measures, which will be announced in a short period, will better satisfy the demands of domestic investors for financial assets in the global market, according to the SAFE.
The measures will support market competition and encourage carmakers to improve their efficiencies, analysts said.
The measures proposed were also related to these aspects, Lam added.

The mask ban was introduced on Oct 4 by Chief Executive Carrie Lam Cheng Yuet-ngor who invoked the Emergency Regulations Ordinance to stop rampant protest violence. On Nov 18, the High Court ruled that the government move was unconstitutional. On Dec 10, the court rejected the government's request to suspend the ruling, thus the ban has been lifted.
The ministry is also making an effort to help travelers find the locations of toilets on electronic maps.
The meeting comes amid intensive diplomatic engagement between China and the EU countries amid the COVID-19 pandemic and global economic recession due to the impact of the outbreak.
The meeting stressed giving full play to the institutional advantages of a new-type of system that pools national resources as well as the role of key academies, institutions and colleges which act as national teams. It also called for more efforts to optimize the allocation of scientific research strength and the sharing of resources.
