Li will make an official visit to Germany and Belgium from May 30 to June 2, the Foreign Ministry announced on Monday. In Germany, Li will attend the annual meeting of the two countries' prime ministers.
Li said that China firmly supports Sao Tome and Principe's efforts in safeguarding its sovereignty, economic independence and sustainable development. China is willing to move forward the partnership between the two nations to a new high level for new achievements, he added.

Li made the remarks in a report delivered at a bimonthly session of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, China's top legislature, which opened in Beijing on Monday.
Li expressed his gratitude on behalf of the Chinese government to foreign experts in China for their contribution to the country's progress of modernization and reform.
