Xi's Guangdong inspection tour, which began on Monday, has brought him to Zhuhai, Qingyuan, Shenzhen and Guangzhou.
Xi invited Nguyen Phu Trong, general secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee, to visit China in January this year. Xi and Trong had in-depth exchanges on major issues of common concern, and clarified the direction of future China-Vietnam ties.

Xi spoke positively of the efforts made by Obama to push the development of China-US relations during his presidency.
Xi also thanked Sall for the sympathies the Senegalese leader had extended over the epidemic of pneumonia caused by a novel coronavirus and for his support in China's efforts to fight it.

Xi said the external environment of China’s development is undergoing marked changes and the country’s economy has transitioned from high-speed growth to high-quality development.
Xi is paying the visits at the invitation of Kyrgyz President Sooronbay Jeenbekov and Tajik President Emomali Rahmon, according to Lu.
Xi and the group members believe "reform will cause pain, but without reform the pain will be longer-lasting."
Xi's congratulatory letter to the forum indicates China will adhere to its reform and opening up policies to promote globalization in the years to come, said Andrew Robb, former Australian trade minister.
