“We watched a lot on TV, but this is the day when we came to New York to watch it,” said Jaden’s 8-year-old sister Kaylen. “And we wore a lot of layers.”
“Yes, I actually think that this forces the hand of Amazon and some other big players. They have to follow suit. You will see them follow suit, I’ll be stunned if you don’t, because they can’t just cede that part of the market to us, if we’re the only main, large retail site taking Bitcoin,” he said. “Either they have to start taking it, or they’re just giving away a piece of the market.”

“When we take a stance on a particular issue it should be because it has an impact on the company or our employees,” Bezos said. “That’s what led us to take a position on the immigration issue. We have a large number of employees affected by that issue. It really is that simple.”
