“We have been very clear from the beginning of this process that we want Amazon to select our region as its second headquarters,” the statement said. “The proposal submitted by PGHQ2 was a collective effort by multiple local stakeholders, including the county and city. In addition to the legal arguments, releasing the proposal would put our region at a competitive disadvantage.”
“The way China has done this is an example to other parts of the world. Having visited some poverty-reduction eradication programs in China, you realize the importance of the emphasis on communications and physical infrastructure. You cannot lift people out of poverty unless they are connected to the market,” he says.
“We have a good relationship with Russia and with China and with other countries. That’s a good thing, not a bad thing,” he said.
“Traditionally, tech support schemes have focused on vulnerabilities in a computer’s operating system or other software as the material misrepresentations made to victims in order to sell fraudulent services,” the complaint says. “Given the rise of connected devices beyond traditional computers — such as Alexa devices — bad actors now target potential victims seeking assistance with these devices.”
